Bucktown is moving uptown
May 12, 2011 1 CommentThe Bucktown Revue is moving uptown this summer, to the Nighswander Theatre.
The Nighswander Theater, 2822 Eastern Ave., Davenport (see map below), has full theater amenities, including 375 fixed and numbered seats, handicap accessibility, a computerized lighting system, dressing rooms for the cast, a theater sound system, and more.
We invite you to become a patron-partner of the Bucktown Revue — which really is your show! — by buying a season ticket. Patron-partners will have reserved season seating in a prime location for all nine shows in the 2011-12 season, September through May. Tickets are transferrable; if you can’t make a show, you can give away or sell your tickets.
Patron-parters will be welcomed at a free August pre-season cast party and show at the Nighswander, where they can meet the regulars and be the first to try out the Revue’s new venue.
If you wish to be come a Bucktown Revue patron-partner, send an email to Mike Romkey, mgromkey@gmail.com, specifying the number of seats you’d like. We’ll also be taking reservations at the Bucktown Revue Finale Performance, 7 p.m. May 20, at the RME.
We’ll be in contact with patron-partners by July 1 to choose seating, which will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re a regular in the audience, don’t delay in getting your name on the list.
Season tickets are $90 and include all eight shows and the pre-season show.
The Bucktown Revue extends its thanks to the staff and facilities at the River Music Experience. We love the RME, and encourage you to join us in supporting the RME and its programming.

Nighswander Theater: parking is in red. Access to parking behind cottages is via roads on either end of complex, and there are covered walkways from there to theater along the cottages. Distance from behind-cottage parking is about same as to the RME parking ramp.
